What services are included in hospice care?
Hospice care provides a full range of services focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Our nurses visit regularly to monitor symptoms, adjust medications, and coordinate care with your physician, ensuring you receive personalized support throughout your illness.
All medications related to your hospice diagnosis are covered, along with medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, and oxygen. We also supply essential medical items like dressings, catheters, and incontinence products, delivered directly to your home for convenience.
Our interdisciplinary team includes social workers who offer counseling and help you access community resources, spiritual counselors who provide faith-based or non-denominational support, and certified home health aides who assist with bathing, grooming, and personal care needs.
We offer 24/7 nursing support, giving you access to a nurse at any time of day or night. If you experience new or worsening symptoms, we can provide guidance over the phone or dispatch a nurse to your home for urgent care.
Hospice care does not include 24-hour caregiving, private duty services, or room and board in assisted living facilities. It also does not cover treatments aimed at curing the illness, though you may continue seeing your regular doctor and receiving comfort-focused treatments as needed.
