What services are included in hospice care?

Hospice care provides a full range of services focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Our nurses visit regularly to monitor symptoms, adjust medications, and coordinate care with your physician.

Services covered under hospice include:

  • Regular nursing visits for symptom monitoring and medication management
  • All medications related to your diagnosis, delivered to your home
  • Medical equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, and oxygen
  • Medical supplies such as dressings, catheters, and incontinence products
  • Social work counseling and help accessing community resources
  • Spiritual care from a chaplain or non-denominational counselor
  • Personal care from a certified home health aide
  • 24/7 nurse access by phone or in-home visit for urgent needs

Hospice does not include 24-hour caregiving, private duty services, or treatments aimed at curing the illness. Treatments for conditions unrelated to your terminal diagnosis continue to be covered by your regular health insurance.
