Compassion
We treat every patient and family with kindness, empathy, and genuine care
Who we are
Our role is to bring together the right people, equipment, guidance, and ongoing communication so care feels dependable rather than fragmented.
A smaller agency with a personal approach
To provide compassionate, dignified end-of-life care that honors each person's values and wishes, while supporting families through one of life's most challenging journeys.
MAR Hospice Care was founded in 2021 and has been a trusted hospice provider across Southern California ever since. We are licensed by the California Department of Public Health (License #550007676), accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), and certified to serve Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Veterans Affairs (VA) beneficiaries.
Based in Tarzana, we proudly serve families throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County. We bring the same warmth and clinical expertise to every home, assisted living facility, and nursing facility we visit.
Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, registered nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, and volunteers works together to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every patient and family we serve. We believe every person deserves to spend their final days in comfort, surrounded by love, and free from pain.

A consistent standard of care
We hold an active California state hospice license (CDPH #550007676) and are accredited by ACHC, one of the most rigorous accreditation bodies in healthcare.
We are Medicare-certified (CCN #B41567), Medi-Cal approved, and contracted with Veterans Affairs, so most families pay nothing out of pocket for hospice services.
Our state compliance record shows zero complaints, zero survey deficiencies, and zero enforcement actions. This reflects our commitment to the highest standard of care.
Our clinical team is on call around the clock. Whether you have a question at 2 a.m. or need a nurse at your door the same day, we are always here.
From Los Angeles and Tarzana to Anaheim, Thousand Oaks, Corona, and beyond, we serve families across five counties so you are never far from care.
Our team includes physicians, RNs, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, and trained volunteers who address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every patient.
Our accreditation, California license, Medicare certification, and veteran-owned certification are listed with their numbers, with links to official registries where a public lookup exists.
Languages our team speaks: English, Spanish, Armenian, Russian, Arabic.
